The National Disability Authority (NDA) monitors several elements of the Disability Act 2005 and the accessibility of websites through the EU Web Accessibility Directive (WAD).

We can also be requested by the Minister to conduct additional monitoring or reporting. For example, reporting on the implementation of the Irish Sign Language Act 2017. We also have a role in assessing the progress of national disability strategies.
