Our team was delighted to welcome thousands of students, teachers and parents to our stand at BTYSTE. Our very popular 'Connected Game' generated great competition and enjoyment amongst the attendees.
But most importantly, we were delighted to celebrate Dana Carney from Mount St Michael Secondary School in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, who won our special award at the BTYSTE Award Ceremony for her project 'Secure Hands: Enhancing the efficiency in emergency communications through Irish Sign Language (ISL) in Ireland through the integration of Machine Learning in a mobile app'.
By equipping emergency responders with the tools to learn and interpret ISL swiftly and accurately, Dana's innovative 'Secure Hands' helps to bridge the communication gap for members of the Deaf community during emergencies. Well done Dana!
